Author Biography: Pamela A. Davol / P.A. Lapham

Pamela A. Lapham (writing under the pen names Pamela A. Davol and P.A.Lapham) is a regulatory affairs professional and peer-reviewed author in the fields of biotechnology and medical research, with a career spanning several decades focusing on oncology, immunology and her hobby: canine health and genetics. For many years, she wrote articles to help dog owners learn how to keep their dogs healthy and spent a lot of time studying and reporting how traits, like fur color, are passed down from parents to puppies. She is well known for writing helpful articles on her former website called Labbies.com, which ran from the early 1990s to 2024 and was intended to help everyday dog owners, breeders, and veterinarians.

She is native to Massachusetts, and as a Mayflower descendant, she has a deep interest in its South Shore history and tracing New England genealogies. She lives in Wareham, MA, and is married to her soul mate, ‘Sijo’ Art Lapham, a fellow author. Between them, they share four daughters, three granddaughters, and seven dogs.
